Quinn tells Rachel that Shelby's sleeping with Puck. Quinn wants to get Shelby in trouble by getting her fired, which means she'll lose everything. Rachel tells her that she's done a lot of bad stuff, but really...it's not alright.
Blaine's ex comes to the table with Kurt and Blaine at a coffee shop. He wants him back and he makes it clear to Kurt, but acts nice when Blaine comes back.
Rachel and Finn goes to find Sam and he is stripping for money. They want him to come back to the school. They go to ask his dad if he can go back. They let him go. Sam surprises the club by showing up. They sing Red Solo Cup by Toby Keith. Santana comes in and goes off with insults. He tells her he missed her too and hugs her.
Quinn talks to Sam and wants to date him, she thinks he'd be a perfect father. He tells her that it is her senior year and she should just enjoy it. He also tells her 'hold on to 16 as long as you can'.
Tina and Mike talk about college and he's going to Stanford pre-med. She tries to convince him otherwise, but he doesn't like it.
Sam tries to convince the club that they need to sell a little bit of sex. Blaine goes off, because he feels like it's too much. There doesn't need to be anything sexual to win. He then tells Sam that he is not for sale. Finn goes to find him and he's working out with a punching bag. He goes off telling Finn he gives him so much crap and asks him why. Finn tells him that he was honestly just jealous. He felt threatened. His talent freaked him out. He apologizes to Blaine. He convinces Blaine to get back to it.
Sam goes to see Mercedes and grabs her hand. She tells him that she has a boyfriend and he's huge. He tells her that he doesn't care how big or bad her boyfriend is, he's going to fight to get her back.
Tina brings West Side Story on DVD, from the play to Mike's dad. She tells him that he's throwing everything away just for him. He tries to tell her that there will be a lot of a heart ache if going down that path. She says she knows, she's heard the jokes. But she doesn't care, because it was what they were born to do. He doesn't accept the DVD. She says "you know, you always talk about honor...help your son honor his gift".
Mike is upset with Tina for talking to his father and now they are having the competition. Rachel follows Quinn and tries to talk her out of telling the principal about Shelby and Puck. She says that she got a taste of doing the wrong thing and it feels awful.
Quinn tells Shelby that she's going to tell Figgins about them. She tells her not to wish her life away, this is the best part. She apologizes and leaves. Quinn is confused as what to do.
The Troubletones do their show and they do "I Will Survive" and "Survivor". Sam loved Mercedes' performance. New Directions go up and they do a ABC, Control, and Man in the Mirror mash up. Mike's dad shows up to watch. Everyone loves it, including Mike's father who looks proud.
Mike's father tells him that dancing is his path and he must follow it to make them proud. He tells him to apply to dance schools. Tina sent in his applications just in case. Now it is time for the winners: 3rd-Unitards. 2nd-The Troubletones. 1st-New Directions.
Quinn tells Rachel that she's not going to tell, because she loves Beth and doesn't want to ruin her life. She's thinking that she wants to go to Yale. She tells her she's a lot better than she knows. Quinn goes to the bathroom to meet up with The Troubletones. She says "Growing up is about losing things". Rachel and Will agreed to let The Troubletones to sing a song each competition.
