...Peter Paul Almond Joy's got nuts. Mounds don't.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's, the Peter Paul candy company created a catchy ad campaign for two of its candy bars, Almond Joy and Mounds. The two candies arew very similar; the chief difference is the presence of almonds on the former. The campaign attempted to suggest that however you felt, Peter Paul had a candy for you. Like many successful ad campaigns, this one essentially became a meme.
