Meanwhile, Nate invites Lola to move in with him, and Lily must make a big decision about the future of her marriage. Finally, by episode's end, Blair will make a choice between the two men in her life; will it be Chuck or will it be Dan?

5x24: The Return of the Ring recap: The episode begins with Blair looking through Serena and walking away. Meanwhile, Nate, Chuck and Bart are all together, and agree that their apartment needs a woman’s touch. Meanwhile, Rufus reads the newspaper headline that Bart is alive. Lily is visibly shocked to read it. Serena in the meanwhile, explains to Blair that’s she didn’t know Gossip Girl would steal her laptop with all that Serena had written in it. Blair is worried Dan might see what Gossip Girl is writing about her feelings. Blair tells Serena to find a way to stop Gossip Girl before she ruins everything. Later, Blair makes her mother read all that she has written about her in her diary, before her mother can read all that written about her by Gossip Girl. Blair then makes her friends read her diaries too, for all that she has written about them... read more.

5x23: The Fugitives recap: The episode begins with Chuck asking Bart about the car accident. Bart says it was real and he was lucky to survive it, but also that it wasn’t an accident. It was done by a competitor of Bart’s whose very important transaction Bart knew about. He tells Chuck that both he and Lily were at a risk, so he had to fake his own death, to mislead the competitor into believing that he had won. Meanwhile, Blair comes to know that it was Dan who rejected the program in Rome and not the other way round. She confronts Dan about it. He then comes clean about him being jealous about her and Chuck. She insists that he has nothing to worry about and tells him to take the offer... read more.

5x22: Raiders of the Lost Art recap: The episode begins and Serena tells the maid that writing is the only outlet that’s keeping her happy, after all that happened last week. Meanwhile, Diana searches for her diary in her drawer, and doesn’t find it. She then gives Nate a call, asking him where he is. She confronts him about stealing the diary, but he acts innocent. Meanwhile, Chuck goes through the diary. He hasn’t been able to figure out the numbers and entries in the diary yet. Meanwhile, Lola comes in to meet Nate. Nate apologizes to her for not believing that, Serena was acting as Gossip Girl. Meanwhile, Dan is facing a writer’s block, and is stuck on page 2 of his book... read more.

5x21: Despicable B recap: The episode begins, with the voice over of gossip girl saying that bad news travels faster than the good news. Meanwhile, Blair is giving Dan pointers on how to be popular. Later, just as Blair plans to have a relaxing bath and catch up on some reading, the maid snatches the magazines out of her hand, makes some excuse and leaves. Meanwhile, Lily and Serena discuss about the will being revoked, outside the court. The wealth will thus be split fifty-fifty, and Lily will get fifty percent of the wealth, it turns out. Meanwhile, outside the building reporters accost Lily asking her about the case. They then ask about the rumors about her and her husband not living together. 5x20: Salon of the Dead recap: The episode begins and, it’s morning on the Upper East Side, and each main character of the show is focused on; Blair is wearing a floral dress while sipping tea in unison with her husband, Dan Humphrey, who at the moment is taking care of the household. Serena meanwhile, is typing on her laptop and responding to Gossip Girl emails. Nate is still seemingly in a deep slumber, but his slumber is interrupted by his girlfriend, Lola Charlie Rhodes, who calls to gush about how “this It Girl thing has it perks.” Apparently she’s got an audition with the guy who made Kirsten Dunst relevant again: Lars Von Trier, and hence she is barely able to contain her excitement... read more.
