Belles de Jour - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
In this season premier, we learn that Georgina has had her baby and is living with Dan. Of course no one is hip to the paternity of baby Milo just yet, but that is bound to come out at some point. It is a shocking truth, but Dan is keeping his lips sealed on this one. Vanessa has come back from her internship with CNN and that is when she learns about all of the details with the baby and Georgina. She is not at all happy about this and thinks that she is lying about the paternity of the father. He tells her that they still haven't checked out the paternity, but they plan on it and he hasn't signed the birth certificate.

Georgina is being shady as usual with secret phone calls. She seems to be in a situation where she is being blackmailed. She only has a day to get whatever it is that she is needing to get her hands on, so says the other person on the phone. As of that isn't enough, Georgina ends up becoming an event crasher. She goes to Lily's and tells Dan's parents everything that is going on. It turns out that she is claiming that she went and got the paternity test done herself and has proof on paper that Dan is 100% the child's father.

Rufus thinks that there should be another test, but eventually he and Dan finish having a bit of a heart to heart and he settles down about it. It is then that Dan actually signs the birth certificate. The next day, Georgina splits leaving Milo behind with Dan. She claims she is going to a spa, but she has taken most of her things and a passport which begs to differ.

Serena and Blair have been having some issues in Paris. They seem to be having a fantastic time, but she is jealous because Serena has been having better luck with the men. She does meet someone named Louis at some point and she thinks he may be royal. She invites Serena to come to dinner with them and his friend and they soon learn that Louis is just a "lowly limo driver" and that his "friend" is his employer and the true royalty lies with him.

Blair also finds out that while she thought she'd be apart from Serena for college, it turns out that they are both going to be going to Columbia together. This is the straw that breaks Blair's back and she loses it. Serena tries to talk to her about it and Blair tells her she's tired of being in her shadow. She just wants to be somewhere where she can just be herself. Serena wants them to just get along and go back in and have fun with the guys in the establishment. Blair tells her that she's going inside but Serena is not coming with her. She says she'll come up with an excuse that she fell in the fountain. Serena thinks that it is a silly idea and then Blair pushes her into the fountain. Serena then comes and gets Jean Michel and goes to her room.

When they leave, Louis is happy that he is with Blair. Unfortunately for him, she seems to be more interested in the supposed "royalty". He tells her that he's really royalty and that his friend is his driver. He was trying to figure out whether she liked him for all the right reasons or what. Sucks for her. She looks like someone just hit her in the nose with a rolled up newspaper.

Blair goes back to Serena after being humiliated and tries to make up with her. She says she just really cares about her and needs her friend. They kiss and make up. Blair also gets to send in a tip about how they'll be going to college together in the fall. That is a pretty sweet moment and things seem to be a bit smoothed over after that.

Everyone else is up to no good, too. Nate spent a long summer binging and going through the women of Chuck's black book. He has met a woman named Juliet and he really digs her. Unfortunately, while she may be perfect to him in his eyes she could either be a stalker or a myriad of people's official thorn to the side.

For those that were worried about the situation with Chuck, you will be happy to know that he is still alive. He was saved by a cute girl after having been shot and has taken a new identity for himself. Granted, Lily has been told that someone has been found with his identification card...dead. So, she still thinks he is dead but he isn't.
