Recap

The scene opens with Dan saving his latest book proposal while Chuck reads that Dan’s latest book is a best seller. In a bathroom, Serena goes up to Blair and pushes her a little. Later, Alexandra calls Chuck and says that he didn’t have to buy her a gift. He says that he wanted to and asks her out to lunch. She says that Dan has his new book deal and that she is busy. He sets up a date for later. Dan comes downstairs to find his dad, Ruffus, there. He asks how things are with Lily and he says that they are fine. Rufus asks how Dan and Blaire are doing and Dan says that after the kiss, things are awkward between them. He tells Rufus that Lily is right about the jacket and says that it is not good. Blair and Serena sit down for breakfast and are arguing about Blair’s kiss with Dan. She says that it was a mistake. Dorota gets fed up with it and locks them inside the dinning room. They can’t believe that she did that and she says that they are not going out until they work things out. ..
