Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of Earth, is summoned back to Oa and gets word that Frontier Lanterns have gone missing, killed by unknown assailants. With his former instructor Kilowog, Hal "borrows" a prototype interceptor and goes off to investigate, and learns that the mysterious Red Lanterns are killing Green Lanterns.
Stranded in the Frontier Worlds when their ultra-warp burns out, Hal and Kilowog take Shyir Rev to his colony to recuperate. However, the Red Lanterns and their leader, Atrocitus, track the Green Lanterns there and threaten to destroy the colony unless the people turn their enemies over to them.
Hal and Kilowog imprison Razer at a prison asteroid. However, when they receive a report of torture and go back to investigate, they are captured and Aya turns to Razer for help.
When Hal, Kilowog, and Razer go to the aid of a ship trapped in a pinhole, Aya reveals a previously unknown ability when she needs to help them.
While seeking out a local Green Lantern, Hal becomes embroiled with local politics and is forced to accept a challenge from an alien warrior to keep him from marrying Queen Iolande.
The trail of a missing power ring takes Hal and the others to a planet inhabited by three castaways and a mysterious alien, Saint Walker.
Razer disobeys orders and sabotages the interceptor, distracting his new teammates so that he can fly to the Red Lantern base and kill his former master, Atrocitus.
While searching for food supplies, Hal and Kilowog become separated and find themselves on opposing sides of a battle between the two species on the planet. Meanwhile, Aya wonders why Razer is uncomfortable recharging his red power ring.
Hal and the others visit a planet where females use violet power rings fueled by love to bring peace to the galaxy. However, the Green Lanterns soon discover that peace comes with a price.
Hal and the others return to Betrassus when Prince Ragnar becomes a Red Lantern and takes over the planet. Meanwhile, Ganthet disagrees with the other Guardians over the potential revelation of their greatest shame.
The Red Lanterns seek a way to penetrate the asteroid maelstrom between the Forgotten Zone and Guardian Space, and must locate a Thanagarian prisoner who holds the secret. To stop them, Hal and Kilowog must get to the prisoner first.
Hal and the crew set out to destroy the lighthouse and prevent Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns from entering Guardian Space.
While Razer and Hal try to get to Oa before Atrocitus, Kilowog, Saint Walker, and Mogo try to hold off the invasion fleet.
Hal returns to Earth after winning the Red Lantern invasion only to discover that he's been replaced by Guy Gardner. He's forced to work with his replacement when three Manhunter robots activate and launch an attack.
When Hal realizes that the threat of the Manhunters extend across the universe, he convinces the Guardians to let him assemble a team to investigate.
Hal is sent through a rift between dimensions and finds himself in a parallel universe where his counterpart is... Steam Lantern, who battles the evil Lord Nigel in a 19th century Victorian setting.
The Manhunters travel to the Blue Lantern's home planet of Odym to seek out the Corps' central battery... which can supercharge the robots' abilities, making them unstoppable. Meanwhile, Razer must choose whether to reject or embrace his anger.
Legendary Green Lantern Sinestro boards the interceptor after recovering a dangerous prisoner. However, he soon tries to kill the crew and the Lanterns realize that the prisoner is more dangerous than it seems.
The Guardians' attempt to forge a true with the Red Lanterns is threatened when a Manhunter emerges from the ruins of the Red Lanterns' homeworld. Meanwhile, the Anti-Monitor and his army of Manhunters pass through the Maelstrom and Hal and his teammates must slow them down... at a terrible price.
Hal and his team join forces with the Red Lantern fleet to stop the Manhunters and the Anti-Monitor from destroying Ysmault... and receive help from a comrade that they believe had died.
Hal, Kilowog, and Razer crash land on a planet after Aya disables their ship. With their power rings running low on energy, they must make their way to a domed settlement to survive the poisonous atmosphere... and work out how to cooperate when the translation function on their rings goes dead.
When Zamaron is invaded by Manhunters, the unsuspecting Carol Ferris is summoned to represent love in a battle against hate’s champion, Atrocitus of the Red Lantern Corps.

Hal searches the planet Okaara for the mythical orange lantern battery as a way to combat the Manhunters. The problem is, it’s guarded under the watchful, and very greedy, eyes of Larfleeze, the one and only Orange Lantern.

Hal, Razer, and Kilowog join forces with the Science Director to stop Aya long enough to disable her with a missile containing aurem crystals. However, the Lanterns soon discover that the Science Director has another plan.
Hal receives a mysterious signal from the planet Ranx, where Aya has sent legions of Manhunters to shatter the planet's force field and take whatever lies within.
The Guardians rally the entire Green Lantern Corps to stop Aya from going back to the dawn of time and uncreating all life. However, Hal learns a startling secret about Aya and needs Razer's help to strike at her one weakness.
