Meredith: (opening voiceover) Picture this: you've spent the past five years at your residency training to become a surgeon. But those five years suddenly don't matter. The only thing that matters, the only thing between you and the rest of your career is a test, in a random hotel in a random city, with a random examiner asking you random questions. Nervous? You should be.
Derek: They called 10 minutes ago, she started throwing up right after I dropped her off.
Meredith: She's really warm, maybe I should stay.
Callie: No. Babies get sick. It sucks, but it's the disgusting circle of life. We've trained too hard. I've personally put hours of my life that I will never get back, so you are not failing because your mommy hormones.
Derek: Go to the airport, pass your Boards.
Meredith: My baby is sick!
Derek: Lucky for her, her father is a doctor.
Callie: We're a village. Zola's village is chock full of doctors, okay? She will be fine. Go! Make me proud.
Meredith: Alright. Mamma loves you so much, Zo! You're my Zo-zo! I love you. I'll be home soon.
Alex: I got this.
Arizona: I hope you do.
Arizona: I mean...I know you do!
Hunt: I want you to repeat after me: I'm a soldier.
April: I'm a soldier.
Hunt: No, no--I want to hear you mean it. I am a soldier!
April: I am a soldier!
Jackson: Good luck. April? Come on. You're not even going to look at me?
April: No, it's not you Jackson. It's Jesus. I was a virgin because I love Jesus and now Jesus hates me.
Meredith: Hi! Yeah, I was just napping. I felt a little tired, that's all. How's Zola?
Derek: Her fever's down to a hundred, stop worrying.
Meredith: I can hear her screaming, Derek.
Derek: No, she saying: Go mamma, kick butt on the Boards!
Meredith: Is she really feeling better?
Derek: Yeah, you hear that? She stopped crying. And now she's smiling, that cute little smile she does.
Meredith: Oh yeah, I love that smile.
Derek: So, are you gonna be all right for tomorrow?
Meredith: Tomorrow? Yeah. I feel great!
Derek: Good. I made some calls, there is an opening in Mass General. We can do this. And Zola can grow up with a Boston accent!"
Meredith: "Wow, I don't even know if I want the job, and I haven't passed my test yet.
Derek: You will.
Jackson (after getting punched): Really?!
Jealous Resident: You wanna go?
April: Yeah bitch! I wanna go!
Derek: Well, we did it. We made it through the night. You know why Zola? Because we're survivors. Me and you, and your mom's gonna pass the Boards, and hopefully – you don't throw up on me in the next 15 minutes, right?
Lexie: Why is she in a bumblebee costume?
Derek: She has thrown up on all of her other clothes.
Meredith: (closing voiceover) Kindergarten, high school, college, Med school, residency. Yet all leads to this moment. Some people can crack under the pressure. Others thrive. Either way, there's nothing left to do. No more studying, no more preparing. Like it or not, the moment has arrived. The only thing left for you to do is to show up.
