Alex: (opening voiceover) I'm not big into change. In oncology, when a normal cell changes into something malignant, it's called cellular transformation. The damn cells turn toxic right in front of your eyes. So as far as I'm concerned transformation sucks.
Meredith: *looks longingly at the three burritos April is holding*
Meredith: Are you gonna eat all of those??
Matthew: You are the strongest, most fearless, beautiful woman I've ever met. You were incredible today. You are incredible. And, uh... I like you. I-I really like you. And I just thought I should say that so you knew, because I- (April kisses him).
Alana: By streamlining the process we will significantly decrease the hospitals hernia complication rate and become a destination medical centre.
Grant: How many patients will this place accommodate at a time.
Alana: Upwards of 30, once everything is finished. (she steps on blood left on the floor). Shepherd, would you mind taking over?
Jackson: I hope you get the brand ambassador thing. I don't want to be the face of any hospital where I have to sneak around to do the right thing
Alex: Screw that, I hope you get it.
Jackson: What happened?
Alex: Cahill figured it out?
April: They're taking us in one at a time to see who will break first.
Ross: I can't lie, I'm no good at it, they'll see right through me.
Cristina: Stay strong dopey, you can do it.
Meredith: They started with the interns.
Owen: I am trying to find out what happened.
Alex: You wanna know what happened, I will tell you what happened. That kid was dying and we kept him alive.
Derek: You paged me?
Alana: Yes. We have a problem. My presence seems to have knighted an uprising, which makes it a little tough for me to do my job. Especially when you help them.
Alana: It was your code that accessed the medication case on floor five.
Owen: Is that true?
Jackson: (to Jess) Jess, the surgery went very well.
Alex: Brian should be in recovery soon, you'll be able to visit him then. (Brian's father walks around the corner).
Jess: Mr. Weston, is that you?
Mr. Weston: I'm sorry, I just wanted to hear how Bri--, how everything went.
Jess: I sent you the email last night. Not Brian. It was me. He wasn't going to tell you. I know you guys don't talk that much since he moved out, but he talks about you a lot. He admires you, I think he wants to grow up and be you, and you're his dad. It was a major surgery, and I thought you should know.
Meredith: Hey, so I know you keep saying you and Wilson are not a thing.
Alex: Because we're not.
Meredith: Well, maybe you should be. Because she kind of kicked ass today. Just sayin'.
Alex: (closing voiceover) Change is a funny thing. Not everyone can handle it. It can sneak up on you. Things aren't what they used to be. Your whole world has transformed. You realize the ground beneath you has shifted. Things are uncertain. And there's no turning back. The world around you is different now unrecognisable and there's nothing you can do about it. You're stuck. The future's staring you in the face. And you're not sure you like what you see. Like I said, I'm not big into change.
