Meredith (opening voiceover): In hospitals they say you know. You know you're going to die. Some doctors say it's a look patients get in their eyes. Some say there's a scent, a smell of death. Some say there's just some kind of sixth sense, when the great beyond is headed for you, you feel it coming. Whatever it is, it's creepy. Because if you know, what do you do about it? Forget about the fact that you're scared out of your mind. If you knew this was your last day on earth, how would you want to spend it?
Cristina: You know in the movies, how there's always the hero and then there's the other guy, the guy who sees danger and then runs in the opposite direction?
Cristina: Be the other guy.
Izzie: Would you two just shut up? Nobody cares if the blue is bluer, or if you have super smelling powers. Meredith could die. Any minute she could just.. die. Actually stop living. Dead. Corpse.
Addison: Calm down.
Richard: Calm down? I have an evacuated O.R., a bomb in a body cavity, a missing paramedic, an intern with her hand on the explosive, two world class surgeons in harm's way, a man on the table who could bleed out at any moment unless we remove the bomb from his chest, and my favorite resident in labor, who you're now telling me refuses to push. Really? Calm down? You really wanna say to me right now to calm down?
Meredith: Christina, I have my hand on a bomb. I'm freaking out. And most importantly, I really have to pee. Tell me anything.
Cristina: He told me he loved me. Last night, he thought I was sleeping, but I heard him say it.
Meredith: Burke loves you.
Cristina: Yeah. (to a staring Dylan Young) Mind your own business.
Meredith: Burke loves you.
Cristina: Yeah, everybody has problems.
Meredith: OK, you know when you don't need to be made fun of? Like when you have your hand inside a body that's got a bomb in it and a stranger is velcroing a flak jacket to your boobs.
Bailey: O'Malley? Quit staring at my vajayjay!
George: Yes, ma'am.
Meredith: I can't! No. I can't. This is crazy. Burke, you gonna go? You go. Both of you should go.
Burke: Nobody's dying today, Grey.
Dylan: Meredith I want you to look at me. Look at me. I know this is mad. And I know that I'm this ass who's been yelling at you all day. So you pretend that I'm not. You pretend that I'm someone you like. Whatever you need. But you need to listen to me.
(After Derek's surgery, after the whole bomb thing is over)
Derek: Where is she?
Richard: You had to be a cowboy.
Derek (looking around): Wh-Where is she?
Richard: She's right here.
Addison (walks quickly up to him and hugs him): Derek. You're okay. Oh, thank God, you're okay. (Derek has his head on Addison's shoulder and looks over at Richard)
Adele (to Richard): That is not the 'she' he was askin' for.
Meredith: Is this the strangest thing that's ever happened in your O.R.?
Burke: I'd have to say that it is.
Meredith: Good, cause I'm very competitive.
Burke: All the best surgeons are.
Dr. Milton's character appears earlier in the season in episode 6. However, in that episode, his name is Dr. Adams.
When George is stitching up the paramedics hand, an ambulance pulls up outside. If the hospital was closed to all trauma, why did an ambulance pull up?
When Cristina is in Derek's O.R. she notices the bomb squad and Meredith in the hallway. Before she leave the room she takes off her operating gown and hands it off to an extra. When she gets outside into the hallway she is still partially wearing it.
When the bomb explodes and Meredith falls to the floor, her hands fall to her sides facing down. In the next shot, her hands are up and fall in the opposite direction.
