| |
Meredith realizes the responsibility of adulthood when her mother has to sign all of her assets over to her. Izzie decides to throw a party for her boyfriend, Hank, and the scale of the party, which Meredith is unaware of, increases throughout the day. After popping a glove during a heart surgery, Meredith fears that she damaged the patient's heart and has to face a meeting with the chief and lawyers who will determine her future as a doctor. Episode Quotes |
| |
Cristina: The bigger the party the less time for bad sex with the hockey player.
Izzie: Would you stop saying that.
Cristina: Okay.
Izzie: Hank and I have great sex, all the time. In fact we'll probably have sex after the party, or during the party.
George: As long as you clear it with Meredith. | Cristina: You must be Hank...he's so tall and hockey-like. | Meredith: We're adults. When did that happen? And how do we make it stop? | (George comes home to find Meredith drunk at the party)
Izzie: Holy Mother of Destruction. | Meredith: Remember when you were a kid and your biggest worry was, like, if you'd get a bike for your birthday or if you'd get to eat cookies for breakfast. Being an adult? Totally overrated. I mean seriously, don't be fooled by all the hot shoes and the great sex and the no parents anywhere telling you what to do. Adulthood is responsibility. | Izzie: Mr. Sturman, and how are you feeling?
Mr. Sturman: Pretty okay, except I don't think I ever want to have a bowel obstruction again.
Izzie: Really? Wow. Because we get people in here all the time requesting them. |
