As Nick explains the ways of the Wesen world to Hank, they're called to an accident scene that proves to be ground zero for an outbreak of a plague that only affects Wesen. Meanwhile, Renard gets word that the Families have sent another agent to Portland to recover the key, while Eddie and Rosalee go on a picnic.
Hank: How do you do this? How do you know who's who and what's what?
Nick: Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.
Hank: That's no help.
Rosalee: Are you asking me out on a picnic?
Eddie: That depends on what you say. And if you were to say yes, then--then yes. But if you were to say no, then, you know, I just wanted to tell you about my great-grandmother's picnic basket I found in the attic.
Eddie: We don't get out enough. We get stuck inside too much.
Rosalee: There was a time I used to love to run through the woods.
Eddie: Oh, man, me too, usually chasing someone. Thing.
Bud: I'm so glad you loved the quilt. My wife will be thrilled to hear it. You can't imagine the kind of language that went on at my house while she was making that thing. Or maybe you can. Ah, I thought I'd married a longshoreman there for a while.
Juliette: That's cute.
Wu: Tried reaching Mrs. Stanton by phone but no one's answering. The machine had a woman's voice so my assumption is she moved with him to Portland.
Hank: Could be his mistress.
Wu: You would go there.
Hank: Or his mother.
Wu: Too late. You went to the gutter first.
