| James Callahan, who played Uncle Bob, is best known for his role of Sgt. Walter Powell on Charles in Charge. He is the second cast member from that show to have appeared in the first season of Growing Pains- April Lerman being the first. However, the two never worked on Charles in Charge at the same time.
