| Beginning with this episode, it is said that Carol is in London doing research. The truth is that Tracey Gold had developed a severe case of anorexia and had to leave the show for a short while, while she got treatment. She did not appear in any of the six episodes that followed, with the exception of the episode Menage a Luke, which was aired out of order. She would later return, however, for the final four episodes of the series.
