| The role of J. Calvin Frazier was written as a white Jewish man before Jaleel White took the role.
| Was developed as a one hour show. | Soleil Moon Frye was slated to be with the cast as a regular and appeared on promotional material. She was written out of the show for unknown reasons. This episode upset some people since J (Jaleel) asked Robin (Soeil) where the G-Spot was. One writer stated he never wanted to see Urkel ask Punky Brester this question ever again. | The line about Marcus being the "Black JFK" was edited out of the final pilot. It does appear in previews. |
