While drinking with Phillip, Rick sets him straight on his tendency to be over-controlling. Rick brings an abashed Phillip over to the Jessup farm, where Harley has been complaining to Cassie and Blake about her fight with Phillip. Phillip then serenades Harley, with Rick accompanying him. Moved, Harley kisses him, and they leave together. Josh is pleasantly surprised at the preparations Reva's made for a romantic night for them. They toast to the new life they're going to create, and make love. Annie tries to convince Alan that she doesn't want a baby just to compete with Reva, but he presses her to realize she'll always be an outsider, just like him. Annie admits that she, not Reva, caused her infertility, and living with that reality is worse than prison. Alan's affected but tells her she has a way to go before she proves that she's changed. Annie privately vows that Alan will find a baby for her, or she'll do it on her own. Talking with Buzz at Millennium, Selena comments that if Drew thinks her mother is dead, the two of them can continue their relationship as if nothing's changed. Drew appears and complains about Jesse and Michelle's reuniting. Later, Buzz reluctantly agrees to help Selena forge a birth certificate. At Millennium, upset about Danny's closeness to this pretty young girl (Pilar), Michelle leaves with Jesse. Pilar wonders why Danny didn't tell Michelle that Pilar is Danny's sister. Danny gives Pilar a very brief, censored version of his and Michelle's marriage, avoiding mention of their family's threat to Michelle's life. Meanwhile, Michelle and Jesse head to Jesse's loft, where Jesse feels she's forcing herself to get close to Jesse. She assures him this isn't true, that she wants to recapture their life together. Drew walks in and orders them out, and tells Jesse he has to move out altogether. Jesse apologizes to Drew, and she warns him to be careful of Michelle, considering her feelings for Danny. Jesse agrees to look for another place to live.

Apr/06/1999
The next morning, Cassie tells Blake she's learned from Frank that Vanessa plans to reveal Dinah's whereabouts. Before heading to the police station, Cassie talks with Blake about Ben. Blake admits she slept with him again, and wonders why she's so obsessed with him. Cassie remarks that Blake can't think about reuniting with Ross until she gets Ben out of her system. Ben meets with Carmen and tells her he's not sure if he wants to do business with someone like her. She offers him the chance to get even with Alan. Dreaming of crushing Alan, Ben realizes he'd have to handle Blake, who wouldn't want him working with Carmen. He invites Carmen to dinner and leaves to see Blake. They make love, but Blake regrets this afterwards. Ben surprises her by breaking up with her -- he claims that he loves her too much to have only a sexual relationship. He leaves, privately pleased by her shocked dismay. At the police station, Vanessa laments her mistakes in giving up Dinah as a child, but Ross encourages her to tell the truth. Reluctantly, Vanessa reveals that Dinah is in a Lucerne convent. Matt comforts her, noting that Ross is trying to strike a deal with the DA for Dinah. Frank calls Lucerne and discovers that Dinah has disappeared. Carmen is both thrilled and annoyed to find Pilar in Springfield. Pilar maintains that she wants to stay in town, but Carmen refuses, saying she has to go back to Barcelona to school. Privately, Carmen asks Danny if he brought Pilar here as vengeance for what Carmen did to Michelle. She doesn't want Pilar to learn the nature of their business. Michelle asks Rick if Jesse can move in with her, claiming that she and Jesse belong together. Rick asks her if she has feelings for Danny, and she says she doesn't. He vows to give her independence, but later expresses his concern about Michelle's welfare to Abigail. Jesse and Drew argue, and Jesse admits he cares for her -- he doesn't want her to get hurt again. Hurt, Drew says she doesn't need a brother, and tells him to move out so she can pursue a social life without being judged. Jesse warns her off Danny. Drew packs Jesse's things and throws them out the door, telling him she doesn't want to see him until he looks at her as if she's the only woman for him. Jesse pulls her close to him, just as Michelle appears.
