On the stand Daisy tells the court room that Grady was driving the car that killed Tammy. After more questioning by Jeffrey, Daisy says it was all her fault. After Reva accuses Daisy of lying. The jury consider their verdict and find Grady not guilty. Cassie is very upset by the outcome. Frank lets Natalia know that Harley and Rafe have moved again.

Grady kisses Dinah as she leaves which Ashlee sees. Daisy is upset when Ashlee tells her what she saw. Daisy confronts Grady about the kiss and he tells her he is just working on a job. Daisy gives Grady back the key he gave her. Grady cuts a strand of Lizzie's hair off and accidentally drops the key on her lap. Daisy tells Ashlee that she has moved on from Grady. After finding the ransom note Bill discusses the situation with Alan. Dinah stops her brother from calling the police. Before she leaves Dinah leaves a second note that she had taken off of Grady demanding money.

Lizzie causes damage to the van she is locked in in an attempt to escape. Dinah puts a cell phone by Lizzie so that Bill can hear her. Fluid drips from the van as Dinah and Mallet drive off in it with Lizzie in the back.

Bill manages to find the van that Lizzie was held in and follows the trail of the leaked fluid from the van. Bill manages to knock Grady out and is reunited with Lizzie. Mallet realizes that Cyrus stole the necklace and made sure it was found on purpose so that it would push Cassie away from him. Cassie tells her sister that she has decided to make a fresh start away from Springfield.
