At the country club, Olivia is trying to ease Alan’s mind about the effect of Richard’s death on their harbor side project. Claire arrives and is miffed to see Alan and Olivia enjoying each other’s company. Olivia returns to join Reva, Marah, Shayne, Sam and Josh in celebrating Marah and Sam’s high school graduation. Marah and Sam are thrilled when they find out that their graduation presents are cars for each of them. Reva gets a call from Cassie, who explains that Richard is alive. She tells Reva about Richard’s plan to free them from Edmund and urgently adds that no one can know that Richard’s alive yet. But it is too late, Olivia heard the conversation. Alan endures more of Claire’s complaints about the Grand Jury hearing and her relationship with Michelle. When Claire notices that he cannot keep his eyes off of Olivia she leaves. Olivia approaches Alan and assures him that she is sure that their project will proceed smoothly. Blake tries to convince Harley that she needs to tell Phillip about the baby. Harley tries to get off the subject by warning Blake that Gus can't be trusted. Despite Harley’s misgivings, Blake explains her plan to exchange information with Gus. Gus arrives as Harley is discouraging Blake’s friendship with him. In San Cristobel, word gets back to Phillip that Beth did not attend the funeral and no one seems to know where she is. He, along with Noah and Richard, prepare to find Lizzie, James and Beth and take Edmund down. Meanwhile, Beth continues to plan her escape from the tower. She ties a rope to a secure chain in the tower. Edmund returns from the funeral and discovers that Cassie is not at the palace. He goes to the tower to talk to Beth and spots her trying to escape. Edmund runs up the tower and grabs hold of the fraying rope.
