Fletcher explains that he's arranged for Holly to leave for a picnic this afternoon... with Meg. A nurse accompanies them to Laurel Falls, where they have a pleasant afternoon, reminiscing about falling in love. When Fletcher leaves her alone for a moment, Holly finds a picture of a woman in his wallet. Susan tells Jesse that she gave the money to Max. Max reminds Jesse that Jesse himself had a reputation for stealing. Jesse threatens to call Max's juvenile officer and leaves. When Susan won't give Max the money, he taunts her, calling her a princess who can't understand his hard luck life. She relents and gives him the money he stole, and Max gloats about duping her. Not wanting Drew to uncover the truth about Selena, Buzz offers to help Drew investigate "her mother," citing his military experience. Jesse calls Selena and Buzz on their continued dishonesty, and says he'll only keep the secret as long as Drew isn't hurt. Later, Buzz thanks Selena for helping him get over the worst part of his grief for Jenna. Selena kisses him before leaving. Pilar confronts Danny with newspaper listings about the family's criminal activities. He claims their business is legitimate. Pilar then asks Danny to tell her the truth about Mick's death. When she mentions asking Michelle, Danny decides to send Pilar back to school. He leaves her alone. Pilar spots Bill, and pretends to him that Danny has been hitting on her. He agrees to help her, and by the time Danny returns, Pilar and Bill have left. At the carriage house, Ben has picked the boys up from school to surprise Blake. She arrives and isn't pleased when she learns Ben accepted Carmen's job offer -- especially she hears that her sons had their picture taken by a reporter. Ben tries to convince Blake that she and the boys aren't in danger because of his connection to the Santos family, but she doesn't buy it. When he leaves, Blake calls to have the locks to her house changed.
