Fletcher calls Kate and tells her he's decided to stay in Springfield, and he tells Holly he made the call because he loves her. He insists her birth certificate is a forgery, but Drew offers to pay him to hear stories about their mother. Max agrees, but gets too upset to continue. Drew feels sorry for Max and, wanting to be close to her "brother," asks Max to move in with her. Secretly Max is willing to go along with Drew's belief that they're siblings. Susan tells Harley about Max, and Harley realizes Susan likes him. She prepares to have "the sex talk" with her daughter, but Susan assures her she's not ready yet. Blake threatens to call the police if Ben doesn't leave. Ben thinks she's playing a game, and pulls her into an embrace.
