Guiding Light: Wednesday May 12, 1999

Reva warns Susan to keep away from Max. Changing the subject, Susan spots the brochures for San Cristobel and reveals that she's done a school report on the country. She tells a shocked Reva that the date inscribed on the ring matches that of a festival honoring the royal family. Later, Susan is surprised when Max accepts her invitation to her birthday party. Rick sees Abigail's Cochlear implant brochures, and asks her about the operation. She gets defensive and thinks he's pushing her to have the operation. When he convinces her that he loves her no matter what, Abigail decides she'll talk to the doctors for more info. Matt and Vanessa joke about Billy's hosting Josh's bachelor party today. Vanessa expresses concern about Reva's 'bachelorette party,' knowing that Cassie will be there. Matt tries to reassure her that Cassie knows she's not responsible for Dinah's actions. Bill arrives and tells Vanessa about his friendship with Pilar. Meanwhile, Danny admits to Pilar that he slept with Drew. Pilar can't imagine how Danny could love one woman and sleep with another. She rails against all men, and pushes Bill aside as she passes him and Vanessa. Vanessa's surprised that Pilar's the girl Bill was talking about... but Bill, upset, tells her to forget he said anything. Michelle lashes into Drew for sleeping with Danny. Drew apologizes and tells Michelle that Danny loves Michelle, but Michelle is too hurt to believe her. Things get worse when Jesse arrives and defends Drew. Michelle leaves and heads to Millennium, where she meets up with some college friends. She steals a drink and pronounces herself ready for fun. The frat boys invite her to a party. As she drunkenly accepts, Danny enters.
