Guiding Light: Friday May 21, 1999

Danny convinces Carmen to encourage Pilar to accept Bill's invitation to the wedding. Thanking her mother, Pilar runs off to meet Bill. Danny, meanwhile, talks with Ray about Michelle, and pledges not to lose his chance to be with the woman he loves. Later, he visits Michelle in her bedroom, where they kiss passionately. Drew sneaks into Selena's apartment to find information about Selena's daughter. She finds a loose floorboard and discovers the box of mementos hidden by Selena. By the time Selena returns, Drew has discovered her baby pictures -- and now knows that she's Selena's daughter. Annie arrives at Josh and Reva's wedding just as Reva is about to walk down the aisle. Everyone is shocked and nervous to see her, but she surprises them by producing a bottle of champagne, announcing that she's going to stay out of Josh and Reva's life forever. Alan leads Annie away and is furious that she crashed the wedding. He doesn't believe that her motive was to make peace. When he finally realizes she's telling the truth, it's too late -- Annie tells him she's tired of being treated like a mistress. Josh and Reva's wedding takes place, with Hawk giving away the bride, and Billy acting as best man. Reva is speechless when asked to recite her vow. Billy, Cassie, Matt, Dylan, Marah, Shayne, Susan and Harley all make vows to Reva and Josh's undying love. As cherry blossoms rain down upon them, Josh and Reva are named husband and wife, with the presence of parents Sarah and H.B. blessing their union.
