Guiding Light: Thursday July 13, 2000

Marah, Shayne and Josh are stunned when they walk in on Olivia's romantic surprise for Josh. An embarrassed Olivia apologizes profusely, but Josh assures her it was an innocent mistake. After Olivia admits that she is still threatened by Reva, Josh reassures her by saying that he is learning to let go of Reva and he wants to focus on her. In San Cristobel, Cassie is overjoyed to see Reva and they catch up on each other's lives. Reva talks about the kids and her relationship with Noah. Cassie is concerned that Reva knows nothing about Noah's past, but Reva assures her that she can handle it. Meanwhile, Richard urges Noah to end his relationship with Reva because of Noah's past. Noah responds that he just wants a chance at love with Reva and he promises he will never hurt her. Richard accepts his answer. After Danny confronts Claire with the two documents bearing her signature, Claire admits that she forged Carmen's signature on the consent form, but insists that she was carrying out Carmen's dying wish. Danny doesn't believe her. Michelle defends Claire and Danny argues with her. Later, Claire makes a cryptic call reporting what happened between Danny and Michelle. After Lizzie declares that they're a family again as Alan predicted, Phillip and Beth gently explain to Lizzie that they are each still married to other people.
