Guiding Light: Friday August 25, 2000

While interviewing Selena for her new book, Blake begins discussing her displeasure at Ross' refusal to remarry her. Blake decides to transform herself into a woman Ross wants to marry. Ross is shocked when he arrives home and finds Blake presiding over tea and scones. Ross tells Blake that he just wants her to be herself and rejects her domestic goddess routine. While preparing to go to work, Phillip and Harley hear Susan blasting her music. Phillip tries to deal with Susan calmly, but after she responds with sarcasm, he demands she turn down the music before he does it for her. Harley credits Phillip for doing the best he could and they profess their love. Later, Susan convinces Max to come along for a small gathering at Jim's empty house. Billy briefs Reva about Noah's shady history and Reva decides to confront Dr. Chase. When Noah remains evasive about his past, Reva leaves and locks him out of her house. Noah breaks down the door, refusing to be shut out. Marah witnesses the scene and rails Reva for subjecting her to "inappropriate parental behavior." Reva insists that Josh and Olivia's incident was worse, but Marah leaves after getting a call from Susan. Reva and Noah make up, but he remains unsettled.
