During her date with Woody, Reva has a hard time finding out anything about him. Noah notices the two of them together and pretends to start getting drunk at the bar. He then interrupts their date, feigning jealousy. A frustrated and defiant Reva leaves both men. Phillip takes Harley out to dinner. Harley is livid when Phillip mentions that Beth wanted to meet with them to discuss the children. Phillip insists he wasn't trying to trick her over dinner. Harley is later relieved when he cancels the meeting. Meanwhile, Beth is happy when Edmund drops by. Edmund gives Susan another book to read and Susan responds by giving him a gift of great sentimental value. Edmund is overwhelmed with emotion and Beth is touched to see the unexpected, sensitive side of Edmund. Over dinner, Olivia asks how Sam likes Springfield so far. Sam replies that it's not bad, and mentions that he's made a friend in Susan. When Sam notes that Susan introduced him to Reva's daughter, Olivia encourages him to develop a friendship with Marah.
