Guiding Light: Friday January 5, 2001

Danny is unsympathetic when Tony tells him about his fiasco with Marah. Tony should have realized it was a set up. Later, Marah arrives to talk to Tony, but he refuses to hear her apology. She is further hurt when Sam makes it clear that he doesn't want her in his life either. Reva meets with Blake and fills her in on what happened with Marah. Blake asks Reva if she is not secretly hoping that Josh and Olivia's marriage fails, but Reva insists that she intends to move on with her life without Josh. Noah shares his frustration over Reva's lack of commitment to their relationship with Buzz. Buzz suggests that if Noah makes himself a little less available to Reva, she'll want him more. Interested in the idea and determined to win Reva's interest, Noah calls his ex-wife, Perdita. While hiding out at Holly's, Olivia thanks her for her support during these tough times. Later, Josh gets through to her on her cell phone and attempts to apologize. A stubborn Olivia finally breaks down and agrees to see Josh. Richard finally comes clean to Cassie about his investigation of the engraving on his silver cup. He reveals that the translation refers to a son of the king who died as a child. Cassie tells Richard that she's happy he feels he can trust her again.
