Guiding Light: Tuesday August 10, 2004

The town reacts negatively to the revelation about Danny, but he tries to convince Michelle that their future is bright. However, things don’t look good when Josh bails on his project with Danny and Cassie slaps him with more overdue loans. Danny continues to keep their money problems a secret from Michelle, but she can tell he’s hiding something from her…and she’s not happy about it. Edmund questions Jeffrey’s motives for telling Cassie she’s in danger. Tammy goes to Edmund for help regarding the Lizzie/Joey saga. Edmund advises her that all’s fair in love and war but an eavesdropping Sandy questions Tammy’s motives. Tammy ignores Sandy’s warnings and takes Edmund’s advice in order to beat Lizzie at her own game. Dinah pays another visit to RJ, bonding with the boy over ice cream. Later, Cassie finds RJ with sticky fingers and begins to question the reality of RJ’s imaginary friend. Reva, Josh, Marina and Shayne experience mixed emotions when Shayne pitches for a baseball scout. Alone with Shayne, Reva senses he’s conflicted but Shayne’s observations lead Reva to think there may be something missing in her own life. Later, Shayne is offered a Major League contract, but seeks out Ross to discuss a different future. Ross confronts Jeffrey about taking legal action against Danny for his involvement in the warehouse bombing but Jeffrey warns Ross to back off. Later, Jeffrey correctly suspects that Dinah has contacted Ross but Ross is forced to cover in front of Blake.
