Reva is struggling with the latest memo from the new owner of the TV station. It calls for more "sizzle" but Reva longs for something meaningful. She decides to do a story on adopted children searching for their birth families featuring Sandy, but he resists. Reva is persistent and Sandy agrees, on the condition that she can get him released from his obligation to Alan. Reva sets out to do just that, only to discover the unfortunate identity of her new boss. Tammy fears that Lizzie has won and has Joey all to herself. But Tammy’s surprised when Joey appears on the beach and realizes she still has a chance. As Joey seems ready to give in to his attraction to Tammy, Lizzie visits Aunt Alex in jail, seeking help in winning Joey. Alex offers her advice and a timely phone call sends Joey back to Lizzie. Bill and Olivia have made their new company official. Bill would like to join forces with Harley and the Coopers in standing up to the Spauldings, but Olivia has other ideas for Bill, who takes on Phillip and declares war. Gus angrily rejects Phillip’s plans for Company and is determined to find Harley and make it right. When Gus and Harley meet up, they can’t help but be drawn to one another and a hope lingers that they might reconcile.
