Edmund and Cassie have reconciled, and believe her imposter is behind bars. Unbeknownst to them, Jeffrey is putting Dinah on a plane to Europe. Dinah keeps insisting that Jeffrey is interested in Cassie but he denies. He gets her on the plane but she manages to escape. Later, Jeffrey goes to fill Cassie in on the good news. He finds her fresh out of the shower, as Edmund walks in. When Cassie gets the call about Buzz, she leaves and a suspicious Edmund confronts Jeffrey. Jeffrey, forced to lie to keep the truth about Dinah from coming out, tells Edmund what he wants to hear: that he’s madly in love with Cassie. Gus is by Harley’s side at the hospital as they prepare for Buzz’s surgery. Phillip taunts Harley, claiming that before her attack on him, he was considering giving Buzz the restaurant back as a gesture of goodwill, but now, he’s moving the demolition date up. Rick wonders what is going on with his best friend, but Phillip insists that Rick shouldn't believe everything people are saying about him. When Gus hears about this, he heads out and Harley is angry that Spaulding business took him away. Meanwhile, Gus gets to Company in time to stop the demolition, but must deal with an angry crowd, anxious to take out their frustrations on a Spaulding. Reva is curious when Sandy stalls from going to the bank and claiming the trust fund, which is now legally his. She dismisses concern to focus on Sandy’s birthday party. Later, a call comes from the banker in charge of the trust fund. Sandy intercepts the call and pretends he’s Josh as the banker reveals that Sandy isn’t who he says he is.
