Consumed with jealousy, Edmund insists that Cassie invite Jeffrey to dinner. Cassie hopes for closure on the imposter fiasco, but Edmund watches Cassie and Jeffrey together closely. When a blackout sweeps across Springfield, Edmund follows Jeffrey into the barn with a burning candle. While Jeffrey tries to fix the old generator, Edmund’s rage overwhelms him and he knocks Jeffrey out, sending the candle into the straw where it catches fire. At Company, Michelle and Danny meet as Danny hopes for a new beginning. He’s ready to start over, and Michelle is pleased. Danny and Michelle connect, and Tony feels left out. Lizzie returns from the Big Apple and realizes that Tammy will most likely win the internship contest. She presses her grandfather to award the prize to Joey. After, Lizzie learns that Joey and Tammy are together on their way back from the airport with Steve Schirripa. Lizzie is convinced that Joey is slipping away so she goes to Tony for help in securing a party drug to use on Joey. Tony, angry and offended at being reminded of how he’s viewed in this town, blows her off. But Lizzie finds someone else - an opportunistic young dealer - who’s more than willing to sell her what she wants. As Tammy and Joey are finally getting together (thanks to the actor's insight), Lizzie is taking dangerous steps to keep them apart. While the rest of Springfield suffers the blackout, the hospital remains up and running - as is Buzz after his surgery. Harley and Marina are grateful, until Gus shows up and reminds Harley of who put her father there in the first place. Buzz’s son Coop arrives from England – and promptly punches out Gus! Alan is there to stand by Gus and visit Buzz, much to Harley's chagrin.
