Guiding Light: Wednesday September 22, 2004

Cassie tries to get back to normal but continues to be tormented by thoughts of Dinah. She loses it when Tammy, upset about Joey, remarks that girls like Dinah always win. Later, Edmund tries to convince Cassie to pack up the kids and leave town with him but Cassie refuses to run away from her home. They hear someone outside and Cassie, certain it’s Dinah, grabs her gun. She points it at Joey and realizes how close to the edge she is. She takes off and struggles to deal with her feelings. She resolves to put an end to all of this – tonight. Tony takes Michelle to Laurel Falls. He’s about to confess his feelings for her but she knows what he’s about to say and lets him down gently, explaining that she’s getting close to Danny. They head back to the lighthouse where they are about to catch Blake snooping. Meanwhile, Danny is still looking for a job. Marina approaches and asks Danny to help her find muscle to intimidate the Spauldings but Danny refuses. Marina cuts her hand and Danny helps out around Company. Later, Danny encourages Marina and Coop not to give up their struggle. Lizzie is forced to admit to Joey that she drugged him. Joey goes off on her and declares that he could never love her. He goes looking for Tammy who has snuck out of her house and is playing a dangerous game of flirtation with JB.
