Guiding Light: Friday September 24, 2004

In the car, Cassie assures a tense Dinah that this is just so they can talk, in private, and work out how they’re going to co-exist in this town. An emotional Cassie cites a need to move on from the horrors of their shared past. At Laurel Falls, Cassie pulls a gun and announces her intention to do away with Dinah so she can ensure her family’s safety. Dinah lashes out, pointing out that Cassie will go to jail for murder, but starts to believe that Cassie is freaked out enough to do it. Meanwhile, Edmund and Jeffrey have discovered that both Cassie and Dinah are gone – and assume that Dinah must have kidnapped Cassie. Once they find out that the gun is missing from the farm, the search is on. Sandy gets another gloating email from his anonymous tormenter. It comes with a picture of the person who seems to know he was there when Jonathan died. Reva shows up and he has to hide the screen from her. At the same time, Joey comes to Tammy who’s ready to forgive him if he confirms for her that Lizzie somehow manipulated Joey into going to bed with her. But having been blackmailed by Phillip, Joey must lie and claim he slept with Lizzie because he wanted to. A devastated Tammy takes off and runs into JB. Knowing the house is going to be empty tonight, she invites him there. As JB and Tammy leave, Sandy finally gets a look at the email picture and sees that Jonathan and JB are one and the same.
