Billy attempts to make amends with Bill and a distraught Olivia, but they blow him off. Rick, Frank, and Buzz organize a search party for the children but insist that Harley remain behind. Meanwhile, Coop visits Lizzie at the mansion to check on her. Alan struggles with his guilt for the state of events but Beth urges him not to blame himself. Phillip shows up and shares an emotional moment alone with Beth. He orders her to meet him at Company at nine o’clock where he will return James to her – but insists that she not tell anyone else, claiming he will not give any of the other children back. But he makes the same offer to Rick about Jude, Olivia about Emma, and Harley (through Gus) about Jude and Zach. It’s obvious that Phillip has something else up his sleeve as he plans to gather all of the people who he feels have wronged him in one place. Gus tries to get in touch with Harley but he can’t reach her. Meanwhile, Harley spies Phillip on the dock gathering envelopes for various Springfield residents. Back at the mansion, Phillip contacts Alan over the intercom and invites him to Company as well. At the same time, Bill, Billy, Lizzie, Buzz and Coop receive summons from Phillip to go to Company. Later, Harley slips into her disguise as Ruth, determined to nail Phillip. Phillip gets to Company, and awaits the arrival of everyone else, pouring himself a beer. But there is an unexpected visitor that does arrive early – and shoots Phillip twice in the chest.
