Guiding Light: Wednesday December 22, 2004

Buzz comes home to a celebration with his family but has a confession to make. He explains to Gus, Harley and Frank that he got into an argument with Phillip the night of the murder and that’s why his fingerprints were on the gun. He admits that he kept quiet because the information would have sealed the case against him. Later, Harley and Gus deal with the realization that they’ve let Phillip’s real killer off the hook but Harley insists that clearing her father was worth it. Gus leaves, unable to have a good time and Harley is left to deal with her own guilt. Meanwhile, at the police station, Frank watches Ruth's video and comes to the conclusion that Harley is Ruth. At the villa, Sebastian realizes that Michelle was trying to drug him. He seems ready to do away with them when Tony offers to go find Ed. He swears he’ll bring him back but Sebastian is unconvinced and has them taken away. Michelle and Tony try to forget the danger momentarily and exchange imaginary Christmas gifts. Meanwhile, Holly manages to get through to Sebastian. Later, Tony leaves and Holly kisses Sebastian. Danny confronts Blake and she admits to Danny and Ross everything she knows about Michelle’s disappearance. Danny is rocked to learn Michelle didn’t run off to be with Tony after all. When he tells Marina, she asks if he thinks there’s still a chance for him and Michelle. Danny says he can’t think about that right now; he has to concentrate on finding her. While continuing to play each other, Lizzie lets Coop believe she’s considering giving Company back to lure him in even further.
