Guiding Light: Wednesday December 29, 2004

Tammy is very self-conscious at the bridal salon. Sandy arrives and when he offers to help her with her zipper, Cassie is not happy at the sight of Tammy and Sandy so close. After, Tammy defends him to her mother. When Jonathan comes up and it’s comfortable, Cassie begins to wonder if Tammy will always feel a connection to him. Cassie invites Tammy to stay with her at the Beacon for a girl’s night out before the wedding, unaware that Jonathan has heard of their plans and has managed to get his hands on Cassie’s master key. He lets himself into Tammy’s room when Tammy unexpectedly walks in. Dinah is feeling all is lost when she returns to the barn, where she was to have married Hart, now being set up for Cassie and Edmund’s wedding. There she runs into RJ, clutching his new toy fire truck. They talk about the fire, and he says something to lead Dinah to believe he saw Edmund hit Jeffrey and cause fire. But, when she says this, RJ looks stunned. Dinah decides to leave him with this thought and sends him on his way back to the house. Later, RJ starts to ask questions about that fateful night. Gus and Frank reluctantly get to Company, aware that they need to find a way to break the news to Buzz about Harley’s arrest. Alan arrives and enjoys doing it for them. A guilty Buzz appeals to Frank to pull strings to save his sister. Outside, Alan warns Gus he’s choosing the wrong side, but Gus insists that he’s choosing to solve Phillip’s murder. But Alan reminds Gus he wasn’t so interested until it involved saving Harley. Alan cautions Gus not to push him away too much longer.
