Guiding Light: Thursday January 27, 2005

Michelle impulsively shows up at Company hoping to spend the day with Robbie. But, she discovers her little boy has his own busy schedule and it’s not so easy to change it on a whim. Marina, who is looking forward to a quasi-date with Danny, is nice about it but when Michelle insists she knows what’s best for her son, an upset Danny appears. He tells Michelle that it’s this kind of impulsive, unpredictable behavior that makes Danny think it best for Robbie to have one home – Danny’s. Meanwhile, Tony is punching the bag in the gym, wishing it were his brother Ray. When Ray arrives, Tony accuses him of playing God by trying to convince Michelle to postpone her divorce. Ray insists he’s thinking of Tony and doesn’t want to see his brother get hurt if Michelle’s memories return and she regains her love for Danny. But, Tony is adamant that he and Michelle are the real thing and her life with Danny is over. As Alan assures an anxious Lizzie that he will not let Gus intimidate her in his effort to exonerate Harley, Harley is arrested for skipping bail. While Frank reluctantly hauls Harley downtown, Gus seeks out Lizzie to confront her about her whereabouts the night of the murder. Meanwhile, Harley gets a surprise visit from Alan and in an emotional confrontation she urges him to let her lead her own investigation into Phillip’s death, before Gus, in his desperate desire to save her, ruins Alan’s entire family. Alan agrees to think it over, but when he finds out that Gus interrogated Lizzie, he warns that all bets are off.
