Cassie gets rid of Edmund so she can meet with Jonathan and find out what happened the night before the wedding. She calls Jonathan, who just told Reva that he had nothing to do with vandalizing her new car. Jonathan will tell Cassie the truth if she agrees to leave Reva alone. Cassie says she can’t do it and breaks down. Jonathan uses the moment to fish for information about the fire. He then gives Cassie the videotape proving they didn’t sleep together. Cassie is momentarily relieved, although she assumes he has an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Edmund goes to Company and runs into Reva, who is unaware that she should be acting as Cassie’s alibi. Later, Reva learns that Jonathan is the one who trashed her car while Edmund returns home and watches Cassie and Jonathan through the window. Danny refuses to help Harley fix her jury and Harley admits it was just a test. She needed to be sure he was legit before he gets too involved with Marina and Harley’s kids. Later, Harley realizes that Gus is living at the Inn and spending too much time on her case. She fires him but Gus won’t let her and forces Harley to admit she needs him. They kiss passionately and she asks him to stay with her tonight. Meanwhile, Marina tells Danny she doesn’t want to be the rebound girl. He reassures her that she is not and they grow closer. Gus points out to Coop that Lizzie might not be as innocent as she looks. Coop breaks into Lizzie’s room to look for her diary. She catches him but he pretends to be there because he cares for her and they kiss. Remembering the reason he’s there, he pulls himself away and later, finds a bloody shard of glass amongst Lizzie’s private things.
