Guiding Light: Monday February 14, 2005

Reva, Cassie and Jonathan come face-to-face at Company. The situation is awkward but they all come together to help Harley escape to the courthouse without drawing attention from the media. However, the moment of unity proves temporary. Later, Reva returns to Company and gets a message that Josh needs her. At the courthouse, Harley and Gus prepare for the start of her trial. They run into a couple on their way to a Valentine’s Day wedding and a desperate Gus, feeling that Harley has lost all hope, makes a wild proposal and suggests they get married right now! Harley is actually tempted, but eventually turns down the offer. Jeffrey makes one last-ditch effort to get Harley to take a deal, but she won’t. The trial begins and as Harley faces a jury of her peers, Jeffrey delivers a strong opening statement. Meanwhile, as Coop awaits test results on the bloody glass shard, Lizzie begins to unravel. She refuses to go to the trial and instead, calls her shrink for an emergency session. She begins to recall horrible memories from that fateful night when she committed a crime she can’t forget. Furious upon discovering the remnants of a fire made inside the barn, Edmund confronts Dinah and accuses her of setting it. She denies and drops the bomb on Edmund, revealing to him that she saw Jonathan go into Cassie’s room the night before the wedding. Edmund doesn’t believe a word of it until Dinah mentions the video that Edmund saw Jonathan and Cassie watching, and then destroy. He angrily sets off to find Jonathan and when he does, the Edmund of old returns with a vengeance.
