It’s Valentine’s Day and Josh has managed to take Reva away from all her cares in Springfield for a romantic getaway at Cross Creek. But the lousy weather and an over-zealous security guard appointed by Olivia threatens to put a damper on romance, until Reva and Josh convince the guard that they truly belong there. They reminisce but are upset about all the changes at Cross Creek. Still, Josh is able to romance Reva and get her to forget Jonathan for one day. Edmund can barely keep his rage in check, as he demands to know what Jonathan did to Cassie. Jonathan tells Edmund the truth, but Edmund explodes at the suggestion that Cassie was the one that invited Jonathan over. Meanwhile, Dinah lets Cassie know that Edmund is on the warpath, having learned the truth about Cassie’s night with Jonathan. She rushes up to Jonathan’s room and bursts in, saving Jonathan from a dangerous Edmund. Jonathan leaves as Cassie finally comes clean. Edmund is relieved, but realizes that Cassie withheld the truth because she feared he might revert to his evil ways. Meanwhile, Jonathan lays into Dinah for sending Edmund after him. She convinces him that she can make it up to him as he leads her to Josh and Reva’s bed. After Gus’s touching opening statement, a man who claims to be Cupid interrupts the proceedings. Talking nonsense, the cupid shoots his arrows and pulls the fire alarm, causing everyone to vacate the courtroom. Harley and Gus hide out in a judge’s chambers and find a wedding in progress. The wedding begins to fall apart when the bride speaks of the groom’s lies, but Harley and Gus convince the couple - and themselves - that their love can conquer all obstacles. The couple eventually says “I do” and Harley catches the bouquet.
