Guiding Light: Thursday January 17, 2005

Holly is shocked to see Sebastian and certain that he’s come for revenge. But he surprises her when he reveals that he is now a cured, and changed man and wants to start a new life for himself in Springfield. Blake arrives, and to Holly’s relief, Sebastian doesn’t tell her how he nearly died at Holly’s hands. Later, Sebastian tells Holly that he will steer clear of her but Holly wonders whether that’s what she really wants. Bill invites Harley to Spaulding, and offers to help her out on the stand when Jeffrey calls him as a witness. Olivia, who is busy running Spaulding with Alan in jail, hides her private panic at the lengths Bill will go to save Harley. Olivia agrees with Harley when she says the right thing to do would be to distance herself from Bill, but Harley calls Olivia on only looking after herself. Later, Bill invites Billy to the site of Harley’s just-started new home, hoping that Lewis Construction could pick up where Gus left off. Reva comes to the farm looking for Edmund but finds Cassie instead. The sisters clash when Reva says that she believes Edmund incapable of change. Cassie storms off but when she gets to Company, she discovers that Ross has tailed her to keep tabs on Dinah’s behavior. Cassie urges Ross to recognize that his daughter is in fact the threat everyone claims her to be. Meanwhile, Edmund runs into Jonathan at Towers and suppresses his dark impulses as best he can. Dinah meets up with Corey who has brought his mother to meet the new woman in his life. But his mom has done her research and accuses Dinah of being the same horrible person who shot Hart a few years back. Edmund finds himself jumping to Dinah’s defense, adamant that people have the ability to change.
