Michelle tracks down Danny, who is busy trying to finish work so he can get out of town for a planned getaway with Marina. At the renovation site, Michelle breaks the news that Tony proposed, and she’s accepted. Even though they’re not together anymore, this is still a blow to Danny. After absorbing it, he gives her his blessing. Suddenly, the braces holding up the ceiling of the townhouse give way and Danny and Michelle find the roof caving in on them. Michelle is hit hard and when she awakes, she is suddenly flooded with memories of the Michelle she used to be. In the moment, she kisses Danny! Cassie and Jeffrey nearly make love but Cassie stops herself, not wanting to use Jeffrey to get back at Edmund. Meanwhile, Dinah is offering to leave, but Edmund stops her and tells her she’s been a valuable friend. Tammy enters and is shocked but Edmund uses her to find out where Cassie’s been staying. Later, Edmund arrives at Jeffrey’s, but Jeffrey stalls him long enough for Dinah to slip Cassie out the back door. As things heat up between Gus and Harley, she realizes that the apartment is just outside the prison she’s due to be sent to. Stunned, she lashes out at Gus, telling him his obsession with helping her is unhealthy. But Gus insists that devoting his time to clearing her the most meaningful thing he’s found to do with his life in a long time. Later, Harley confides in Bill that she’s got to find a way to cut things off with Gus, before their situation kills him. Olivia and Bill go out for a night on the town. Olivia spots Jonathan and puts him on the trail of Harris, the guy who Billy hired. Jonathan has to pocket Bill’s wallet but delivers the news that Harris had been hired to work Phillip Spaulding over. Olivia is floored but ecstatic. After, Bill has to enter a Hot Bods contest to win money to cover their tab.
