Gus catches Harley and Bill together and she tells him that they slept together. Bill backs her up, and a wounded Gus finally gets the message and leaves. Later, Harley shares emotional goodbyes with her family, then rushes to court for her sentencing. Gus shows up and Bill prevents him from entering. Alan surprises everyone by making a statement on Harley’s behalf and she realizes that Gus must have cut some kind of deal with Alan. Regardless, Harley is given 25 years to life. She’s pulled away quickly by the bailiff and in the crush outside the courtroom, Gus can’t get to her. He yells that he loves her, but Harley is gone. Reva and Josh meet with their doctor to confirm she’s pregnant. They’re stunned when they’re informed that she’s not, but instead, going through menopause. Reva and Josh try to downplay the situation but it’s clear they’re disappointed. Later, Josh asks if the doctor’s new diagnosis bothers her and she scoffs but later, alone, Reva begins to feel the weight of her new condition. Cassie is stunned when she finds a crib at the farm, but Edmund is thrilled that she’s come home. Horrified, Cassie thinks that Edmund has gone off the deep end. She’s shocked when he confesses to her that he’s hired a woman to carry Cassie’s fertilized eggs, and they’re pregnant! Cassie flees and in the aftermath, Dinah offers to move out of the farmhouse. Distracted, Edmund tries to figure out a way to make Cassie understand this will be what saves their marriage. Meanwhile, Cassie learns that Reva is not pregnant. She then witnesses Harley’s tearful goodbye with her own kids, and realizes what she has to do. She returns to the farm and tells Edmund she isn’t deserting her unborn child but wants to know who the carrier is. It’s then that Dinah appears and tells Cassie the news.
