Guiding Light: Monday April 11, 2005

Cassie is stunned to discover that Dinah is the one carrying her child. Edmund and Dinah try to convince her it will be all right but an emotional Cassie lashes out at Edmund and threatens to call the police on Dinah for stealing her baby. Eventually, Cassie realizes that despite the bizarre circumstances, she is going to be a mother once again and she is happy about that. She shocks Edmund by saying that she will move back into the farmhouse but he must move out so that Cassie and Dinah can live there together. Reva can’t bring herself to be honest with Josh, but she confides in Jonathan that she’s having a hard time coming to terms with the onset of menopause. Using his own sense of humor, he tries to cheer her up and is touched despite himself when Reva tells him he is still her baby. Meanwhile, Josh has enlisted Tammy and Sandy in an effort to lift Reva’s spirits but Reva is too emotional to see Josh’s kind attempt and takes off. After, Tammy and Sandy have an uncomfortable discussion about sex. Sandy tells Tammy she is worth waiting for and she promises he won’t have to wait forever. Later and alone, Jonathan gets a mysterious call. Michelle and Tony learn that Danny has postponed the final divorce hearing and Tony is not pleased. He comes to see Danny to make sure he understands that Michelle is moving on and Danny keeps mum about sleeping with Michelle. Meanwhile, Marina runs into Michelle and declares that she’s not willing to give Danny up. Michelle is a little taken back but makes it clear she does still plan to marry Tony. Later, Tony returns to Michelle and, for his own piece of mind, exaggerates by telling Michelle that Danny has fallen hard for Marina.
