Cassie agrees to accompany Jeffrey on one of his band’s gigs in an effort to forget about Edmund, Dinah, and the baby for one night. When the band shows up to play, Jeffrey puts a hesitant Cassie on stage. She’s terrified, but eventually overcomes her stage fright, throws herself into the show and shares a close evening with Jeffrey. Meanwhile, Edmund discovers Dinah in bed. She claims that she was only trying to give him and Cassie some time alone at the farm, but Edmund doesn’t buy it. Rather than get angry, they share a rare honest moment of mutual understanding. It’s interrupted when Tammy comes looking for her mom. She finds them together and blasts them. Edmund tries to contact Cassie and realizes she’s with Jeffrey. He manipulates Cassie into thinking there is something wrong with the baby in order to bring her home. He becomes more convinced than ever that Olivia is hiding something, unaware, all the while, that someone is watching him. Meanwhile, Harley faces the threat from her fellow inmates. She could be in serious trouble, but her cellmate, Lena, steps in to save her neck. Harley and Lena begin a tentative friendship, which is made more complicated by Mallet’s visit to the cell. His interest in Harley is more than just warden-prisoner, but Harley insists for her protection she should not receive any special treatment. Later, she clutches a picture of Gus, missing him more than ever.
