Guiding Light: Tuesday April 19, 2005

Cassie and Jeffrey rush to the hospital after hearing Dinah is there, possibly because something is wrong with the baby. Later, Dinah confesses to Cassie that the whole thing was a ploy of Edmund’s to get Cassie to come home. Saddened by the depths of his deception, Cassie gives Edmund an opportunity to come clean but he continues to lie. Later, everyone is stunned to learn that though there is nothing wrong with the baby, there is something wrong with Dinah. Mallet arranges it so that Harley’s work duty consists of her filing in his office. She begins working for him and stumbles across proof that he requested the transfer to her prison. She confronts him but he denies having any romantic interest in her. Later, Harley admits to Lena that Mallet is her ex-husband and Lena is convinced there’s still a romantic spark between them. Meanwhile, in an attempt to get information, Gus apologizes to Olivia and tells her he thinks Harley may have done it. Frank overhears Gus saying he shouldn’t have trusted Harley and rips into him for his apparent disloyalty. After Frank gives him a bloody lip and leaves, Olivia lowers her guard slightly with Gus and opens up to him about just how happy she is that Phillip Spaulding is dead. Later, Gus gets a text message that warns him that the answers he seeks are in the Spaulding house. Michelle and Tony make plans to elope but then Danny delivers the news that their divorce hearing has been postponed another week. Danny and Michelle convince each other they still want the divorce. They decide to jump on a plane to Vegas to get it done quickly. Meanwhile, Tony goes to Marina and reveals that he saw Danny and Michelle kissing. Though she is stunned, Marina insists that they have to trust Danny and Michelle will do the right thing.
