Guiding Light: Monday April 25, 2005

Harley has her first real memory from the night of the murder, the smell of a woman’s perfume. A thrilled Harley wants to call Gus, but Mallet won’t let her. Frustrated, she goes back to her cell and there, she shares her memory with Lena - unaware she is on Alan's payroll! Meanwhile, an unknown assailant is holding Gus in a locked room. He pounds on the walls, demanding answers but when a distorted voice is finally heard, it warns Gus to drop his investigation or Harley will die. Cassie tries to pry out of Dinah whether or not she is in love with Edmund and Dinah pushes Cassie’s buttons by naming all the things she will miss out on by not carrying her child to birth. Later, they are interrupted by Vanessa’s surprise arrival and Cassie runs into Jeffrey at the bar. Meanwhile, Vanessa reveals that she wants Dinah to come back and live in Switzerland with her. An outraged Dinah argues when Cassie and Jeffrey arrive. Cassie gets between the women and declares that she is drawing up a restraining order against Ross and Vanessa so that they don’t cause Dinah and Cassie’s baby any more stress. Vanessa warns that it’s a mistake but Cassie stands her ground. Darla, the woman who has been calling Jonathan, shows up in Springfield and warns Jonathan that he’d better deliver the information about Reva he promised or he’ll suffer the consequences. After, Josh tells Jonathan he’s decided to give him a job at Lewis Construction. Fearful of Darla’s next move, Jonathan turns down the offer but changes his mind when he sees Darla hone in on Tammy.
