Guiding Light: Tuesday May 3, 2005

Cassie continues to lean on Edmund, fearing Will will be taken from her by Alonzo. Wanting to be Cassie’s hero, Edmund keeps making the situation worse by encouraging Alonzo to reclaim his son. Dinah returns from her round trip jaunt to San Cristobel, happy that Edmund has decided to stay in town until she sees the closeness between Edmund and Cassie. Later, as Edmund continues the charade for Cassie’s benefit, Dinah catches him in the act and wonders what Edmund has up his sleeve. Blake approaches Josh and asks him if he’d be interested in working with her and Sebastian to bring Alan down. But, Josh explains that he’s trying to slowly pull away from the business, rather then get more involved with it. Meanwhile, Reva gets fired from the station by a much younger, arrogant producer. She calls Jonathan immediately to help her drink away her troubles but it does no good as she winds up taking her frustrations out by smashing her car mirror, just as Josh arrives. Tammy and Sandy are all set for a romantic day. Tammy tries to question Sandy about his past but he shuts down. Meanwhile, Lizzie throws a party at Company but nobody shows up. Coop feels sorry for her and secretly recruits some guests. Lizzie is humiliated when she realizes what he did but when they begin to argue, they share a geniune emotional moment and Lizzie asks Coop not to leave Company after all.
