Gus has walked in on Harley and Mallet in a close moment but he’s only concerned about Harley’s safety. Harley begs Mallet for some time alone with Gus which she is surprisingly granted. Harley and Gus share a brief, emotional reunion and she tells him about the jasmine scent she remembered. Meanwhile, Mallet receives orders to transfer Harley to the harshest correctional facility, otherwise known as Hell House. He sets out to try and stop the transfer but runs into Frank, who calls him on his feelings for Harley. Mallet evades the subject and is then struck with an idea on how to save her. He splits up the reunion between Gus and Harley with the news of the transfer. Gus sets off with his latest lead while Mallet decides to manipulate the system to keep Harley in Springfield. Edmund and Dinah are stranded with the stalled van as Jeffrey and Cassie go hunting for help. A freak thunderstorm forces Cassie and Jeffrey to seek shelter alone in an abandoned shed. Lightning strikes a tree, trapping them inside. Meanwhile, Dinah inadvertently fixes the van, much to her dismay. Back at the shed, Cassie starts to lose it, convinced she’s missing her chance with Alonzo. Jeffrey comforts her and the moment becomes fraught with sexual tension, just as Edmund arrives to see. Edmund restrains himself and promises Cassie that they will make this mission a success. Marina finds Danny with a suitcase and assumes he’s leaving to join Michelle. But Danny explains that he’s said his goodbyes to Michelle and he’s packed for their trip. Marina’s relieved until Danny, still guilty over Tony’s death, comes clean with her about sleeping with Michelle. Marina is devastated and walks out.
