Gus grabs the briefcase from Alan, and a dozen framed pictures of Phillip fall out. Alan is relieved until he realizes that someone else must know his secret. Gus goes, leaving Alan to search the attic where he comes up with nothing except a Spaulding business card. Back at Spaulding, assuming Olivia to be the one behind the theft of the gloves, Alan is startled when she levels a threat about taking Emma away from him, once and for all. Olivia leaves and Alan is left completely clueless until he finds the missing gloves in a drawer. When Alex enters, he realizes that his sister knows the truth. Meanwhile, Lizzie catches Harley in Springfield but surprises her by declining to turn her in. Harley returns to Gus at the ice cream truck where she learns about the bounty on her head. They resolve to find the person who’s been sending Gus notes. They begin reviewing the security tapes from Spaulding and spot a goateed man leaving a note on the table. Convinced he’s their man, Harley and Gus hit the road for New York. Nate and Jonathan stand outside Company when Reva approaches. Jonathan heads inside before she can see them together while Nate steers Reva away to the beach. Nate finds out how committed Reva is to helping Jonathan change for the better. He is privately bothered by this and suggests to her that some people are beyond change. Meanwhile, Josh tells Jonathan how valuable he’s become at Lewis, and a conflicted Jonathan heads for the beach to clear his head. There he is shocked when he runs into Reva who happily introduces her son to her new boss. Bill presses Olivia to quit Spaulding but she resists, determined to use Emma to get what she wants at Spaulding. Bill wishes she would just walk away but realizes he can’t change his wife’s mind.
