Guiding Light: Tuesday June 14, 2005

Dinah uses Jonathan to make Edmund jealous. Edmund sweeps Dinah away to reprimand her for spending time with the likes of Jonathan. Dinah is about to re-record Edmund’s confession when he discovers the tape recorder and angrily crushes it. He then issues Dinah one last warning not to break up his marriage. Meanwhile, Cassie comes to the bar where Jeffrey is performing and hears him sing a beautiful love song for her. Edmund moves in and seeing their connection, takes Cassie away to talk about the party. Tammy and Sandy decide it’s time to move forward in their relationship and make love. However, Sandy receives a mysterious letter and phone call. He claims that he has a work emergency and takes off. Later, Tammy gets the word from Josh that he gave Sandy the night off and Tammy is left to wonder where Sandy really is. Thinking that Jonathan has reverted to his former ways, a disappointed Reva asks Josh to keep an eye on him. Meanwhile, Nate encourages Jonathan to give Reva and her family what they deserve and Jonathan is torn. Nate leaves him, but not before telling him he wants Jonathan to begin stealing money from Lewis Construction. Later, Reva heads back to work at the bar where she finds a drunk Nate ranting about how much he wants her. She’s flattered but pulls away. When Nate seems to pass out, Reva reveals her feelings for him, unaware that he is actually wide awake. Meanwhile, Jonathan comes to work and quickly realizes that Reva has asked Josh to baby-sit him. Jonathan threatens to quit but Josh doesn’t take the bait and instead tells Jonathan how valuable he is to the company. Later, Josh leaves Jonathan alone with the company bank codes and as Jonathan begins to copy them down, Tammy catches him.
