Guiding Light: Thursday June 16, 2005

While Jeffrey prepares to reveal his love for Cassie, Dinah is about to blow Edmund out of the water by revealing his dirty deeds when Edmund creates a diversion and pulls the microphone cord. In the confusion, Dinah mysteriously disappears. Cassie finds a necklace on the ground she had previously given Dinah as a token of thanks and immediately fears foul play. Edmund is under suspicion but later, Dinah emerges at the barn, having staged the entire abduction with Jonathan’s help. Later, Cassie finds a disheveled Dinah who puts more doubt into Cassie’s head by naming Edmund as her captor. Reva finds herself drawn to Nate despite all her attempts to resist him. When a love sick Jeffrey ends up declaring his love for Cassie to Reva, Reva tells him to back off, and give Cassie a chance to be with her husband. Realizing she is talking more about herself than Cassie, she urges Jeffrey to go after what he wants. Meanwhile, Bill is introduced to Nate who leaves Bill with an odd feeling when he mentions how he’s looking forward to meeting Olivia. Following her undercover trip to Chicago with Danny, Marina tells Frank she wants to go into law enforcement. Frank is scared at first but ultimately encourages her decision. Meanwhile, Buzz reminds Danny that the Bauer BBQ is coming up, and Michelle is likely coming home.
